The first 1,000 days of a baby’s life are the most critical for growth and development.
Clean clothing, diapers, hygiene products and safe baby gear give a baby a healthy start. For thousands of families in Hamilton and Halton, those basics are out of reach.
When families can’t afford the basics, babies are the ones who pay the price.
Parents are left choosing between diapers, food and rent. A baby goes without clothes that fit, enough diapers, or a safe stroller, playpen or high chair.
